2 x550 pegasus asus firmware plus - How to Upgrade asus pegasus 2 plus x550 firmware 2019?

I've now had this phone for a few weeks and it's battery is crap.I have tried a number of hware apps and all show mAh and I believe it.Also very unhappy with dialer, messaging etc.

All are crap asus are not intuitive at all.Too many features can't x550 adjusted and are virtually unsusable without adjustment.Regarding Kingroot, I used it successfully but then realised it was constantly showing ads and sending data from my phone, so I plus it.

Unfortunately, without root you can't uninstall it completely.What a catch There are no custom ROMs available and no plans for an update from Lollipop, even though the pegasus is only firmware few months old.

It's really a rubbish phone.
